Abstract

Information architecture is about planning the structure of a site so it is usable, accessible, and easy to maintain. It involves reflecting the attitude, feel, and tone of what the site is about. It involves systems of layout, labeling, navigation, and search to help people find and manage information more successfully. It also involves the physical layout of the page relationships. Good planning is crucial. Make sure both the originators’ and the end-users’ rights and privileges are served equally and well.
