Abstract

Plurality in Islam is believed to be sunnatullah wills. The plural condition which covering a wide range of groups caused that the community must be able to coexist in an environment. There must be a majority and minority groups in that environment. It will often occur that the majority being intolerant of minorities, resulting in persecution or human rights violations. Historically, Muslims ever become a majority and minority groups somewhere. When became a majority, Muslims have proved able to live in peace
