Abstract

The technologies used within the Metaverse are virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), non-fungible tokens, and even games. The main motive of Metaverse is to deliver the best user experience and enable interaction between the virtual environment and real people. The Metaverse is reshaping the operations and strategies of e-commerce platforms, as futuristic marketplaces are built that can better serve con-sumers' real and virtual needs. Immersive technologies such as VR and AR, which are vital for the creation of a virtual presence in the Metaverse, have the potential to change the way people shop by creating simulations of merchandise and providing interactive consumer experiences. E-commerce has served as a key application scenario for the Metaverse, and a multitude of new business models have already emerged. Virtual stores, live stream shopping platforms, and 3D product models are some of the unique innovations that arose from the Metaverse. In the future, Metaverse e-commerce will impact the entire process of electronic commerce, it will provide new marketing opportunities, change how products are manufactured and shipped, and change to customer service.
