Abstract

This research was aimed at describing the deployment process and management practices by powers taken up by a large organisation in Brazil. The case study was carried out on one unit in the steel industry sector and data collection was carried out through documentary research and interviews with the company's human resources professionals. As a result, it was possible to describe the cornerstones of the implementation of management responsibilities in the studied company: the mapping of valued skills, the assessment tool for the developed action and the new remuneration and careers model.
