Abstract

This paper proposes the definition of a generic infomediation-procurement process for the analysis of ICT added value at the business process level. The interest on this approach lays in one hand in the separation of the information treatment from the procurement process in order to extract its added value and describe it as an independent process, and in the other hand to offer a different perspective based on procurement to understand the impacts of infomediation services on existing business models. © 2008 Physica-Verlag Heidelberg.
