Abstract

How about this for a change: The promiscuous enzyme cytochromeP450-BM3 catalyzes the cyclopropanation of olefins, sometimes with high stereoselectivity (see scheme). The highlighted paper demonstrates that it is possible to design unusual enzyme promiscuity. Copyright © 2013 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim.
