Abstract

The article explores a set of contemporary performances that compose the current discursive repertoire of political contention. It is argued that such practices allow us to grasp fundamental characteristics of modern political communication, and that the arena of social conflicts exists in a permanent transfiguration. It is impossible to understand current conflicts and their actors without adequate knowledge of these shifts.
