Abstract

This research aims to analyze how climate change education is proposed in the main international and Spanish official documents on this phenomenon. The main results show that at the international level, issues on climate change education are proposed with interest-ing measures but without concretion. Regarding the Spanish level, the education of this phenomenon incorporates more specific measures and takes into account the regional and local scale, not only of school students, but also of society in general. To sum up, it should be noted that after reviewing this documentation it has been possible to verify that, over the years, teaching on climate change has been gaining prominence, with greater detail of specific measures in Spain and in the actions of the regional administrations.
