Abstract

In order to describe the failure law of aeronautical equipment components more truthfully and improve the accuracy of reliability analysis, a reliability analysis method based on lognormal distribution of logarithmic normal distribution is proposed to meet the requirements of Prognostic and Health Management (PHM) for modern aviation equipment. The purpose of this paper is to establish the reliability analysis model of the lognormal distribution of aeronautical equipment components and propose a probabilistic method to intuitively judge the distribution type. The logarithmic normal probability plot can be used to determine whether a set of data is subordinate to the lognormal probability distribution. Then, a maximum likelihood parameter estimation method for lognormal distribution is presented to improve the accuracy and applicability of reliability analysis. Finally, the accuracy and practicability of the method are illustrated by a case in the field of aviation equipment support. It provides a reliable basis for Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) of aviation equipment.
