Abstract

The environmental impact of ivermectin was studied with regard to excretion of ivermectin by treated animals, the amount of ivermectin entering the environment, binding and translocation in soil, stability and photodegradation in soil, toxicity to soil micro-organisms, toxicity to earthworms, acute toxicity to freshwater organisms, environmental safety assessment and cattle feedlot environmental safety study.
