Abstract

Large Software Projects need to be represented in a conceptual way for humans to understand. Nevertheless, most of the time the diagrams involved are far from clear and understandable. The use of advanced visualization techniques is useful for large projects and representations in order to clarify the abstraction process. This paper proposes the use of well known visualization techniques to enrich UML models in the structural and hierarchical representation of these types of projects. A first prototype has been developed to test the proposal and the results are described below. © Springer Science+Business Media B.V. 2010.
