Abstract

All of the participants in the study achieved the targeted blood levels of immunosuppressants and 54% had never forgotten/postponed taking the immunosuppressants. The patients; who forgot/postponed taking prescribed medications, reported the associated reasons as follows: Forgetfulness/carelessness (16%), leaving the medications at home forgetfully (14%), unable to take medications because of being away from home (10%), and barriers related to their occupation (6%).
