Abstract

In this chapter,we present a summary of nanorobotic manipulations under various microscopes and their nanobioscience applications. Until now, nanomanipulation is mainly applied to the scientific exploration of mesoscopic phenomena and the construction of prototype nanodevices. Recently, the evaluation of bio-samples has gotten much attention for nanobio applications in nano-biotechnology. Singlecell analysis gets a lot of attention because of its potential for revealing unknown biological aspects of individual cells. Nanomanipulation techniques are one of the promising ways to develop nanobio-applications on the single-cell level for drug delivery, nano-therapy, nano-surgery, and so on. © 2011 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
