Abstract

Teacher educators in Australia and around the world must endure the pervasive presence of their critics. As those working in Australian teacher education are all too well aware, there has been a major state or national inquiry into teacher education almost yearly for the last 30 (Dinham and Scott, 2012). In fact, there have been so many critiques and inquiries into Australian teacher education that Louden (2008) wrote of the "101 damnations” of teacher education.
