Abstract

Service robots face many complicated scenarios. They are required to be smarter and more efficient than industrial robots. We believe that cloud computing technology can help to satisfy such requirements. However, there are still not mature cloud architectures that aim particularly at service robots. In this paper, we propose a cloud architecture for service robots. We present the implementation of the architecture and a demonstrator for concept proof.
