Abstract

The problem of voltage scheduling is defined. A discussion of power system modeling considerations is given. Optimal power flow theory is reviewed since it provides a means for establishing voltage schedules. The objective function and the treatment of parallel transformers for optimization is also presented. The implementation of voltage scheduling is considered. The development of an implementation plan is presently underway and some aspects of this problem will be summarized.
