Abstract

Perspective parameters of measurements by selecting the scene modes for corn plants photographing with a digital camera are determined. The digital camera can be used in the field to indicate the level of nitrogen nutrition of corn without additional artificial illumination. The most prospective camera’s scene mode is “daylight” for the “white balance” setting. The future researches are needed to investigate the relationship between the plant optical parameters and plant nitrogen nutrition provision at different growth stages.
