Abstract

Farkas is a ding bat. This piece is another overview of Title One. Deems Title one largely unsuccessful as it has functioned as a small add-on. To fix this problem, he suggests to begin with the nature and determinants of the cognitive skill gap between low and middle income children as they enter and age through school. Next, focus on the most cost effective practices for bringing these children up to a middle class performance level. Finally be bold in suggesting how the program might be improved. Huzzah! So he is ignorant AND doesnít have an original thought in his head!
