Influence of mental health education on the shaping ideology and morality of college students

Abstract

Mental health education is an important aspect of ideological and moral education in colleges. The education on mental health of college students is critical to the development of all-round quality. This paper aims to disclose how mental health education influences the shaping of ideology and morality of college students. The author carried out a questionnaire survey in five colleges of Nanjing, China, and analyzed the collected data on 5P5518.5. The results show that the mental health problems among Chinese college students are growing year by year, and the mental health education has developed rather rapidly; the mental health education improves the ideology and morality of college students, who are generally satisfied with the education quality; the following measures should be taken to further promote ideology and morality of college students: innovate the teaching methods, integrate the teaching of mental health with the shaping of ideology and morality, and improve the professional of teachers. The research results help to promote the all-round quality of college students in China.
