Abstract

Collaborative scientific visualisation and computational steering are key enabling technologies within many e-science applications. Grid infrastructures provide an ideal environment for providing such a capability, and one approach is to use encapsulation within a Grid enabled component framework. This research note discusses the initial development of a collaborative visualisation component within the ICENI Grid middleware infrastructure.
