Abstract

This article describes a sequence of activities to work on visualization with Primary Education fourth-grade students from the context promoted by a three-dimensional puzzle video game. The sequence is initiated by playing freely to identify the challenges proposed by the game. Then, activities are proposed to identify key aspects of the video game and to generate geometric knowledge about visualization with which to design levels of the video game. The article presents each activity that makes up the sequence, its rationale and the validation of the learning promoted after its application. The results show the possibilities of the video game used and the activities that accompany it to relate different forms of visualization of three-dimensional objects.
