Abstract

The following paper focuses on how to formulate a novel methodological approach for the enhancement of the modernist cultural heritage, appropriate to the conditions and users of the contemporary city. Several authors addressed the issue of architectural valorisation, a very controversial one when it comes to the rationalist era of the past century. Consequently, the wider public audience is not familiar enough with this relevant architectural period. The proposed work is trying to frame and put into correlation the architectural objects through narrative paths of interpretation, characterized by a physical experience of the urban realm. The need to valorise this kind of architecture for the non-expert audience suggests the introduction of novel practices of use of digital tools, to spread the knowledge in a more exciting and engaging way.
