Abstract

From a managerial perspective, a model to measure the performance of knowledge acquisition and creation in organizations has been created based on the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) methodology. An application in higher educational institutions (HEIs) is shown. The model is found suitable for this purpose and is able to give some important insights to managers on what areas and to what extent they should improve in order to become efficient.
