Abstract

The mainstay of investigations used for the diagnosis and management RCC is a CT scan. Ultrasound may lead to the initial diagnosis of a space occupying lesion (SOL) in the kidney but for further characterisation of the lesion and staging CT remains the far more superior imaging modality. Blood investigations are non-specific.
