Abstract

A working relationship between academia and industry is often required for progress, and the proper reporting of potential financial conflicts of interest in consideration of such relationships is essential. In light of the recent resignation of Dr. José Baselga, this editorial reflects on the current system for reporting disclosures and calls for greater transparency.
