Abstract
The application of a dimensional synthesis method to the design of steering mechanisms in road vehicles is presented in this work. Both kinematic requirements and transmission angles are considered, and also the limitation of space within the vehicle. Three different mechanisms have been considered to validate the method. © Springer Science+Business Media B.V. 2009.
