This paper is intended as an introduction into the research area of Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR). It describes in first part basic design and usage of AMR with related problems and already used solutions and strategies to solve these problems. Second part is dedicated to cooperation among multiple AMRs. Architecture design, communication among AMRs and algorithms which could be used to solve path planning problems.
