Abstract

The importance of the year 2025, as the year of solar buildings globally, will be leading to innovative methodologies like Micro-hydro and Nano-based Solar Power Light Sensitive devices for development and implementation building technologies. These technologies are coupled with the zero-energy and eco-buildings for reliable performances in gaining economy and for achieving long life of conventional residential buildings. Classification and type of buildings are the primary tools for designers / architects to deliver the best, feasible and simple designs, to meet all essential requirements, aiming energy sustainability. A typical, simple and economic type of building accessible to middle community, for residential needs, designed and salient features presented in this paper. The critical design aspects and implementation procedures of Solar Buildings discussed. The present designs provide independent, self-sufficient and efficient built-in systems, utilizing rainwater and solar radiations for generating electricity and essential amenities.
