Abstract

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: To assess the effects of zinc to reduce the incidence, duration and severity of the common cold when used either as a daily supplement to prevent colds or as therapy at the onset of cold symptoms or during a cold.
