Abstract

This paper focuses on the influence of fictional TV series on the identity construction of young adults. The aims of the project are to acquire knowledge about the youth's habits of consumption of TV series and to learn about their perception of the influence of this type of product on their lives. Our main conclusions reveal that there still exists an important habit of consumption of TV series among the youth in our country, although significant variations can be appreciated in the preferences of male and female informants of different age groups. To this we can add that girls have a stronger perception of the influence of all the items in the questionnaire.
