Abstract

The need for a good camera to document activities in the community is increasing. While the price of a camera is quite expensive, there are some people who use it only for a moment, so it is better to rent than buying. This opens a business opportunity to provide a camera rental shop. To facilitate and satisfy consumers in terms of finding rental places with camera categories and rental prices according to consumer desires, a rental information system is made that accommodates many web-based camera resellers that can be widely accessed. The system is made using the waterfall method for software development, and CodeIgniter is chosen as a framework for making website applications. Framework with MVC (Model View Controller) is used as model to build dynamic websites using PHP. The results of system testing using the Black Box Testing method (correct data testing, Equivalance atitioning Testing, Robustness Testing) are in accordance with the design expectations. The results of the application can make it easier for users and resellers to make transactions, although there is one thing that cannot be done online, namely the delivery of goods that must be accompanied by the submission of KTP collateral from the tenant. With this application, resellers can use it as a promotional medium with a wide reach and low cost
