Abstract

In order to obtain a good acoustical environment, the acoustic performance of screen needs to be well predicted. This paper presents a finite screen model for the assessment of airborne screen barrier, and it's application to an actual project. The main emphasis is placed on the diffraction from screen edges, incoherence between noise rays and sound pressure calculation. The proposed model is verified by comparsion with traditional model and measurement. © 2011 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
