Abstract

The paper aims to make a proposal to build a future international criminal law of the environment. To this end a number of common rules that could serve to harmonize national laws or even to be part of an International Criminal Statute of crimes against the environment which fall under the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court, are proposed,. It also underlines the criminal liability of legal persons as a central aspect of this branch of international criminal law. To this end we analyze the different existing models of responsibility, in order to suggest a model based on corporate individual responsibility. © ERES. Tous droits réservés pour tous pays.
