Abstract

Currently, software development has increased considerably due to the administration, control, and rapid management they provide, thus enabling most organizations to choose to automate their processes and activities using these tools. The use of the Internet for communications between companies or with end users has become an imminent need, that is why the idea of creating applications that use Web servers for fast and secure communications was born. The quality of an application is one of the most named terms in software engineering because the developed products must be created based on metrics that ensure proper operation and operability. The quality metrics are aimed at satisfying the needs of the client, for this they use standards that detail the main aspects that the product must have, in the case of Web applications one of the most important aspects are the dynamism of the information as well as the security of it and the operability. In order to comply with these aspects, it is necessary to jointly use quality metrics, software engineering and requirements in order to comply with the correct development of Web applications to obtain a robust, reliable and dynamic tool in a way that generates usability as well as also acceptance by end users. The problem that arises is the need to know the quality metrics used for the development of Web applications, their benefits, importance and the criteria provided; that is why the purpose of this research work is to analyze the standards and standards of quality of software products, this through the collection and analysis of bibliographic information for the identification of necessary metrics in Web application development.
