Abstract

As archaeologists increasingly engage with research questions related to sexuality, how we conceptualize sexuality takes on great importance. Whether implied or explicitly stated, ideas about what sexuality is, and how sexuality and identity are interconnected, are the fundamental building blocks of any archaeological study of past sexualities. © 2005 Kluwer Academic/Plenum Publishers, New York.
