Abstract

Dephostatin, a novel tyrosine phosphatase inhibitor, was isolated from the culture broth of Streptomyces sp. MJ742-NF5. The structure was elucidated to be 2-(N-methyl-N-nitroso)hydroquinone by spectral and chemical analyses of dephostatin and its derivatives. © 1993, JAPAN ANTIBIOTICS RESEARCH ASSOCIATION.
