We present data of bat-fleas (Ischnopsyllidae) collected between 1997 and 2006 in the framework of different studies on bats, and also from the reexamination of museum specimens of unclear identification. New localities are recorded in Spain and Morocco for the flea species Rhinolophopsylla unipectinata unipectinata, R. u. arabs, Ischnopsyllus intermedius, I. octactenus, I. elongatus, Nycteridopsylla pentactena and Araeopsylla gestroi collected from the bats species Rhinolophus ferrumequinum, R. euryale, Eptesicus isabellinus, Pipistrellus kuhlii, P.pipistrellus/pygmaeus, Nyctalus leisleri, N. lasiopterus, Tadarida teniotis and Plecotus sp. The most outstanding finding is the new record for the Iberian Peninsula of the flea R. u. arabs, a subspecies that had been reported previously only in the north of Africa.
