We discuss in this work an empirical approach for the study of stellar astrophysics in the Middle/High School. Using a minimum of information, we develop some key points to perform tasks and lessons which result analogous in difficulties and concept to those made for the system Earth-Sun-Moon starting from the observed phenomena. This approach does not require the use of more advanced concepts (such as nuclear fusion) in favor of the concrete possibility to incorporate these stellar astrophysics subjects in the classroom, as suggested by brazilian PCNs. © by the Sociedade Brasileira de Física.
