Abstract

The extraction for pigment of Vaccinium bracteatum berry and leaf samples were studied, using ethanol as solvent. The stability of the two pigments was also investigated in this experiment. Through the single factor and orthogonal test, the optimal extraction conditions were established detected by UV spectrophotometer. Meanwhile, the physicochemical properties of the two pigments were also studied such as absorb spectra, acid and alkali stability, thermal and light stability and so on. © 2012 Springer-Verlag GmbH.
