Abstract

From an interdisciplinary perspective, the text presents the partial results of a research carried out at the Clinical Research Laboratory - STI / AIDS, National Institute of Infectious Diseases Evandro Chegas (INI), Fiocruz, Rio de Janeiro. They are narratives of suffering that expose the trajectories of the studied trans population, their sexualities, their health conditions, illnesses, perspectives, worsened by the pandemic of COVID-19. The research highlights the urgency of public and equitable policies, capable of facing the diversity of sexuality and ensuring the consolidation of a democratic citizenship. The names presented are fictitious, for ethical reasons.
