Abstract

In the year 2013, 194 countries, all members of the World Health Assembly, adopted the Comprehensive Mental Health Action Plan. This plan, with clear vision, objectives and targets, if the highest political commitment that mental health has received so far. The plan includes a variety of actions to decrease stigma against mental disorders and discrimination faced by persons with mental disorders and their families. World Health Organization is assisting countries to implement the Action Plan.
