Abstract

Mobile augmented reality (MAR) technology is a new trend that provide users with the augmented view of digital information in real world. This paper contains design implications for improving the User eXperience (UX) of MAR applications. The scope is limited to MAR and its application in advertisement industry. Results from an experimental study are used to draw the guidelines that can be followed by the designers and practitioners to ensure a quality experience to their users.
