Abstract

This source provides a dated and sometimes very cursory overview of selected aspects of Badaga history, society, and culture. The topics discussed by the authors include social organization, political organization, religious beliefs, and religious and funeral ceremonies. Letters, published travel accounts, and the Badaga provide the basis for this source.
