Abstract

This is a case of a 15-year-old girl who was referred with recurrent attacks of abdominal pain, vomiting, respiratory symptoms, and headache. After extensive assessments and investigations, four different clinical disorders were identified: (1) paroxysmal gastrointestinal problems with changing picture over the years, (2) headache disorder during the recent 3 years, (3) asthma, and (4) generalized anxiety disorder provoked by stress. A multidisciplinary management included lifestyle modification, education, preventive medications, and treatment of acute attacks. She responded well to the management plan with regular follow-up at several clinics.
