Abstract

In contrast to supported palladium, nickel-based catalysts give interesting results in the oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane. Unsupported nickel catalysts are active at temperatures as low as 490 K. Reduced nickel particles are present during the reaction. © 1994 J.C. Baltzer AG, Science Publishers.
