Farklı Ülkelerdeki Tarımsal Destekleme Politikalarının Tarımsal Üretim Üzerine Etkisinin Karşılaştırmalı Analizi

Abstract

In a globalized economy, the impacts of political decisions have been becoming more important. Especially in recent years, the increasing of Turkey’s dependency in agricultural production cause examine to agricultural support policies which has been apllying. Agricultural support policies carry out for increasing the income level, productiveness, product range and level by using different supporting tools. According to OECD report (2012) named “Producer Suuport Estimate Indicator”, Turkey is the most supportive country in agricultural producing. Although these policies implemented, being terms of trade against agricultural sector and decreasing the agricultural output as a proportion and increasing the dependency of Turkey agricultural sector makes this working paper more important. This study aims to analyze the impacts of agricultural supports to agricultural output in countries which being prominence in agricultural sector, particularly in European Union. In this study the effects by years of different countries’ total agricultural supporting tools between 1995 and 2010 (market support, input support) analyzed by techniques of analysis of panel data. In conclusion, this study purpose to suggest new politics about the agricultural supporting policies to being them more effective, especially for Turkey.
