The rapidly changing of learning models that occur during the COVID-19 pandemic can make teachers more vulnerable to various mental health disorders, thereby decreasing their morale and performance. The transformative leadership style of a school principal is believed to have an influence on changing attitudes, beliefs, and behavior of subordinates to a higher level of motivation. This study aims to determine the effect of principal's leadership on work engagement at SD N Karangmojo Bantul Yogyakarta. The sample of this study involved all teachers who teach at the school. Data collection instruments were adapted from the TLS-Transformation Leadership Survey and the Utrecht UWES-Work Engagement Scale. Based on the results of the regression test, the F count value was 12,933 with a significance level of 0.00 > 0.05.
