Abstract

ABSTRAK Pendidikan islam berupaya untuk mengembangkan dan membina potensi manusia bertujuan agar tampil sebagai hamba Allah dengan berpotensi sebaik baiknya, dan terpenuhi  semaksimal mungkin dalam beribadah. Penelitian ini membahas tentang penerapan metode team game tournament pada mata pelajaran pendidikan agama islam di smp dinda hafidzah, dan kajian penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh minimnya kreativtas guru dalam memilih metode dalam sebuah pembelajaran pendidikan agama islam, pembelajaran dikelas terlalu monoton sehingga membuat peserta didik kurang efektif dan sering merasa jenuh, bosan terhadap pembelajaran pendidikan agama islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif, penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan dan digolongkan kedalam peneltian deskriptif kualitatif, data dikumpulkan dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses penerapan metode Team Game Tournament, bagaimana hasil setelah diterapkannya metode team game tournament, dan apa saja kendala kendala yang terjadi saat melakukan penerapan metode team game tournament pada mata pelajaran pendidikan agama islam. Hasil setelah diterapkannya metode ini siswa berpengaruh positif dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Kata kunci : Penerapan; Metode TGT; Pendidikan Agama Islam   ABSTRACT Islamic education seeks to develop and foster human potential with the aim of appearing as a servant of Allah with the best potential, and being fulfilled as much as possible in worship. This research discusses the application of the team game tournament method to Islamic religious education subjects at Dinda Hafidzah Middle School, and this research study is motivated by the lack of teacher creativity in choosing methods in an Islamic religious education lesson, learning in class is too monotonous so that it makes students less effective and often feel bored, bored with learning Islamic religious education. This study uses qualitative research, this research is field research and is classified into qualitative descriptive research, data collected by observing, interviewing, and documentation. The application process begins by dividing the groups and providing quiz questions containing material questions that must be answered and presented by each team, and matches are carried out in good cooperation between groups. The results after the application of this method students have a positive effect and can improve student learning outcomes. Keywords: Application, TGT Method, Islamic Religious Education
