Abstract

The cytotoxic and antiproliferative properties of many natural terpene-purines and terpene-quinones/hydroquinones offer promising opportunities for the development of new drugs. Some of these marine natural products or derivatives, displayed broad spectrum cytotoxic activity against several cancer cells.
