Abstract

Accurate measurement of moisture content in textiles can often be impeded by ambient conditions that may involve high temperatures, dirt or pollution. The Hydrophil-h humidity measurement system from Livingston Rental has been designed to overcome these problems. This system utilises a bounce-jet psychrometer, developed by Ultrakust, that enables accurate measurements to be taken up to 1000°C. Contaminants such as oil, dust or combustion gas residues are flushed from the measurement system.
